About Me

I am a child development specialist and a certified facilitator of Circle of Security Parenting™ and Nurturing Parent.  I am here to help you learn ways to interact with your child that allow your child to grow and explore while giving you more confidence and, hopefully, a more peaceful environment. I have over 30 years experience working with young children and their families. Parent coaching is a learning experience for parents and offers support while learning effective ways of handling challenging behaviors and helping your child grow and learn.

I have a bachelor's degree from Purdue University in Child Development and Family Studies.  I earned my master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University.

     In addition to my professional background, I am a mother to 5 children and grandmother to 2 grandsons.   I love animals, watching my kids/grandkids in their activities, football and spending time with family and friends.
